PERFORMED, SHELBY AUTOMOBILES, INC. URGES THAT THE OWNER RETAIN ALL RECEIPTS INDICATING THAT SERVICE HAS BEEN PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE AND THESE RECEIPTS SHOULD BE TRANSFERRED TO ANY SUBSEQUENT OWNER OF THE VEHICLE.

Service

MAINTENANCE SERVICE CAN BE PERFORMED BY ANY QUALIFIED SERVICE OUTLET. HOWEVER, WARRANTY SERVICE MUST BE PERFORMED BY AN AUTHORIZED SHELBY AUTOMOBILES, INC. DEALER OR ANY AUTHORIZED CHRYSLER MOTORS CORP. DEALER.

Parts

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT ANY REPLACEMENT PARTS USED FOR MAINTENANCE BE NEW, GENUINE SHELBY AUTOMOBILES, INC. OR CHRYSLER MOPAR PARTS. However, the warranty obligations are not dependent upon the use of any particular brand of replacement parts. The owner may elect to use non-genuine Chrysler Mopar or non-genuine Shelby Automobiles, Inc. part for replacement purposed. Use of replacement parts which are not equivalent quality may impair the effectiveness of the vehicle.

Emergency Service

If emergency warranty service is required and the owner is unable to readily locate a Shelby Automobiles, Inc. authorized servicing dealer or an authorized Chrysler Motors Corp. dealer, the following procedure should be used:

  • Contact Shelby Automobiles, Inc. and request warranty service assistance. The telephone number is listed in the operating instructions and product information booklet provided with the vehicle.
  • Shelby Automobiles, Inc. will recommend an authorized servicing dealer or assist in locating a qualified independent service dealer.
  • Any questions regarding warranty should be reviewed with Shelby Automobiles, Inc.
  • If a bonafide emergency situation exists rendering the vehicle unusable, any available service establishment may be used. Shelby Automobiles, Inc. will reimburse the owner for repairs (including labor in most cases) covered by this warranty at its normal reimbursement rate. Replaced parts and paid receipts must be available for presentation to an Authorized Shelby Automobiles, Inc. Dealership as a condition of reimbursement for these emergency repairs. In addition, the owner must provide Shelby Automobiles, Inc. with a detailed description indicating why the situation was considered an emergency and why dealer service was unavailable.
