Torque

Studs must be free of rust and dirt. Wheels shall be torqued to a minimum of 95 ft·lbs and a maximum of 100 ft·lbs as measured by a recently calibrated torque wrench.

Balancing Weights

Only "AW" type balance weights should be used.

Cleaning of Wheels

Keep wheels clean regularly with soap and water to avoid buildup of foreign materials and dirt. Avoid the caustic soaps and carbide tipped brushes used by some commercial car washes for tire cleaning. Remove foreign chemicals promptly after exposure.

Use only non-abrasive polishes. Do not use abrasive cleaners, wire brush, or any tool prone to scratch your wheel's surface.
